Confirmed Match Cards:
Face to Face: CM Punk & Cody Rhodes
Both CM Punk & Cody Rhodes were some of the first to announce their participation in the January 27 event. This will be the first promo segment where both superstars will go head-to-head since Punk’s return in Survivor Series 2023.
Damian Priest vs Drew McIntyre
Last week, Damian Priest wanted to cash in his MITB contract but due to McIntyre’s interference, he was unable to do so. This week, both athletes will face each other in a one-vs.-one match to settle things once and for all.
Ivy Nile vs Valhalla
The Viking Raiders and Alpha Academy have been at each other’s throats for some time. Last week, Tazowa and Maxxine Dupree exchanged blows with Ivar and Valhalla. Which caused Ivy Nile, who is associated with Maxxine, to challenge Valhalla for a one-on-one match.
Ivar vs Chad Gable
Last week, Ivar faced Tazowa in a match, which he lost after Maxxine Dupree distracted him and cost him the match. This week, on January 22 RAW, Ivar will face Chad Gable in a one-on-one match.
WWE officially announces Seth Rollins to kick off the 1/22 episode
Seth ‘Freakin’ Rollins is set to kick off the January 22 episode of Monday Night RAW, which was officially announced by WWE. Last week on the January 15 episode of RAW, Rollins faced off against Jinder Mahal, which, although he won, came at a great cost. Soon after the match, it was reported that Seth suffered a torn MCL and a partially torn meniscus during the match.
Fans took to social media to share information about Rollins’s injury and how it would affect his Royal Rumble performance.
