Recently, the leader of Damage CTRL, Bayley, shared a post on social media, increasing fans’ curiosity. Some believe that the post was about Mone’s potential surprise appearance on January 27 at the Royal Rumble, scheduled to take place at Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg, Florida.

WWE has witnessed several dramatic comebacks recently, with CM Punk returning at Survivor Series WarGames and Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson making an appearance at RAW: Day-1 event. Therefore, Mercedes Mone returning to the company after her controversial leave is not out of the ordinary.
Both Bayley and Mercedes Mone go way back, as they were the inaugural WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions, which they won at the Elimination Chamber pay-per-view. The pair first made a public appearance recently during a movie screening and then later joined hands to watch Trinity’s TNA Wrestling Hard To Kill Match.
A short time ago, a post on Twitter showed a picture of Bayley training with Tyler Breeze, and another post mentioned that Mercedes Mone was recently training with the same wrestler. This has made social media hectic, as fans try to find anything related to Mone returning to the Royal Rumble pay-per-view.
The leader of Damage CTRL, Bayley has always supported Sasha Banks, and during a past interview with Ariel Helwani, she said, “I’ll never give up hope that she’ll come back. I’ll say yes, if she would come back because this is her home, this is her dream. I love to see what she’s doing and what she will be doing in the next few months. She’s gonna literally take over the world, take the world by storm but I know this is her home and where her heart is, and by her heart, I mean me, so she needs to come back to me ’cause I need her to be my travel partner.”

Sasha Banks and Naomi aka Trinity Fatu left WWE during a live event of Monday Night Raw on May 17, 2022. Now that Mercedes Mone’s contract with NJPW is set to expire, fans were wondering if the former SmackDown Women’s Champion will officially join the Stamford-based company again.
WWE has subtly hinted at Sasha Banks returning after the company added her remix version of her theme music, Sky’s The Limit (Entrance Theme), available on Spotify. The WWE Universe is excited for the ‘The Boss’ to make a grand entrance in the January 27 event, although her name is not included in the women’s division Royal Rumble match card,
