The former UFC champion and ‘Iron’ both are set to compete in the next 5 months. However, the main event of UFC 300, with undisclosed names creating suspense for the Conor vs. Michael fight, might happen two months earlier. Ever since Conor McGregor gave the blood test in October, he and Chandler have been making headlines for the trash-talking and taunts on social media. On the last day of 2023, McGregor hinted at a potential fight date, though Michael Chandler has different plans and is eager to move quickly.

Expressing frustration with Conor McGregor’s delay in returning and potentially missing out on the UFC 300 opportunity, Michael Chandler voiced his concern on Twitter.

“I get it. He’s coming off an injury, so that said, now that @TheNotoriousMMA is healthy…the question is, why wouldn’t it be #ufc300 ? It’s been 2.5 years… Get off the yacht kid…”, he wrote.

Chandler commented on the 2.5-year absence of McGregor from the cage fight, and questioned why McGregor, despite being healthy, would take three years to return. ‘Iron’ directly asked why the fight couldn’t be in the UFC 300 event instead of waiting until the end of June. In a mocking tone, the former Bellator champion added, “Get off the yacht, kid.”

Conor McGregor had a humorous response to Chandler, stating, “Yacht has a gym,” sarcastically letting Chandler know that the reason he is on the yacht is because it has a gym.

McGregor has released many videos and photos on social media of his yacht while driving or partying. He was even witnessed doing some lightweight workouts on his yacht.
