The intense rivalry between the San Francisco 49ers and Las Vegas Raiders is not a new topic to NFL fans. Many heated altercations between these two teams hit the headlines several times, with the most infamous one happening on August 20, 2011, when the Raiders team was based in Oakland.
Just a week ago, the 49ers fans got embroiled in a massive fight in a preseason match, albeit this time the fight was with the Denver Broncos following San Francisco’s narrow 21-20 victory over the latter team. Now, San Francisco’s fans once again come into the limelight after getting involved in another fight with their long-time opponents Raiders.

NFL fans react to 49ers-Raiders chaos in US restaurant
NFL games are widely popular for intense competition, but it is something that should be confined to the field only as fans watch sports as a form of entertainment. However, what has been happening among fans stemming from the excitement of the game is beyond tolerance, and the NFL netizens took heavy trolls to those engaged in San Francisco and Las Vegas chaos.
A fan wrote, “Showing off how stupidly you behave in public and for what, a stupid sports team?”
One person wrote, “I am a die hard fan for my sports teams but I’ll be damned if I start throwing hands. I’m not getting their salaries and it’s not that serious. It’s a damn game!! If my team loses, I shake hands and say I’ll see them next time. Foolishness and ignorance is not in my makeup.”
Meanwhile, some fans still chose violence in social media and threw digs at their opposite teams following the incident.
A person wrote, “You’d have a better chance getting a dog to speak english than getting a raider fan to act civilized in public.”
A netizen wrote, “Niners gettn they ass whoop like usual.”
