In the latest episode of Friday Night SmackDown, The Rock returned and confronted Roman Reigns. Before this, Cody Rhodes had publicly announced that he would not challenge Reigns at WrestleMania 40.

After Friday Night SmackDown ended, Sami Zayn addressed the crowd and delivered a promo. He mentioned that The Rock is fortunate to have been a part of WWE and then went on to praise the current generation of WWE wrestlers, stating that they are the best when it comes to in-ring performances.

For years and years, our generation, we have constantly listened to people talking about the good ol’ days. Well I got news for you, tonight 10,000 people sold out this building in birmingham. The scene of the best performers in the world. So I have news for you, the good ol’ days are right here and right now,” said Sami Zayn.
How many times has The Rock headlined WrestleMania?
Although The Rock is a huge star in professional wrestling, movies, and television, he has only won one main event at WrestleMania out of his five appearances. This is due to the storylines of his matches. In his first main event at WrestleMania XV, he portrayed the character of a corporate villain against Steve Austin, and it was evident that he was supposed to lose the match.
At WrestleMania 2000 (XVI), he participated in a Fatal Four-way match against Triple H, Mick Foley, and The Big Show but lost, despite having a good chance of winning. However, in the following month, he managed to defeat Triple H in a match that drew a huge audience.
