Recently, ‘The Architect’ teased Cody Rhodes about the potential future bout on Twitter. Rollins shared the post from his account and fans are anticipating the ‘Master of Cross Rhodes’ reaction to who he will decide to fight at the Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, event.
Seth Rollins hints at Cody Rhodes bout at WrestleMania 40
Seth Rollins has been the champ for some time but due to the injury he suffered, his future course of action was uncertain—that is, until ‘The Architect’ started persuading Cody Rhodes to challenge him for the World Heavyweight Championship on the ‘Show of Shows’.
A little while back, Rollins released a clip of Cody Rhodes, Roman Reigns, and himself on his Twitter account. The video was for the American Nightmare’s choice of opponent in WrestleMania XL, and Seth made it clear that pursuing his title will help Cody more than going after “The Tribal Chief’s” title.

In the video, Seth said, “So tell me Cody, what do you wanna talk about? I know what I wanna talk about. I wanna know where your heart lies. Is your heart set on out-manipulating Roman Reigns? Or would you like to try out-wrestle Seth ‘Freakin’ Rollins? What kind of champion do you wanna be?”.

This is not the first time ‘The Aerialist’ mentioned the 38-year-old star in a post. Back on February 1, Rollins said, “If your past has been your North Star, then the path to finishing your story is right in front of you @CodyRhodes.”

Cody Rhodes shocked the WWE Universe when he returned to the Stamford-based company at WrestleMania 38 after six years and faced Seth Rollins, who gave an open challenge for a possible bout.
