49ers TE George Kittle: I want The Rock to referee Cody Rhodes vs Roman Reigns match

San Francisco 49ers’ George Kittle is juggling numerous media obligations as Super Bowl 58 approaches. Renowned for his prowess on the field, Kittle also keeps an eye on the wrestling business, particularly in light of the recent turmoil at WrestleMania 40 involving Cody Rhodes, The Rock, and Roman Reigns.

Despite his focused attention on the major event, Kittle felt compelled to comment on the unexpected turn of events in the contest for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship. He strongly disagreed with Cody Rhodes’ unexpected replacement as Roman Reigns’ opponent, The Great Rock.

George Kittle gives his two cents on drama surrounding The Rock

In response to the dissatisfaction felt by the WWE Universe with Cody Rhodes’ absence from WrestleMania 40, the #WeWantCody campaign has received a significant amount of attention across various social media channels. Despite The Rock’s inclusion in the bout against Roman Reigns being final, the fans are still showing their dissatisfaction through social media and even in live programs shouting “Rocky sucks”.

With Super Bowl LVIII just around the corner, NFL athlete George Kittle saw the controversy on his Twitter feed. In a pregame news conference, Kittle offered an unconventional resolution to the WWE turmoil, diverting from the main theme. In addition to expressing his respect for all three wrestlers, he put out a suggestion that would satisfy fans and provide an unforgettable battle at WrestleMania 40.

In Kittle’s proposed bout, Rhodes and Roman would face off with Dwayne Johnson in the role of referee. Although it was not Kittle’s initial idea, he feels that this particular arrangement has the potential to gratify fans of both The Rock and Reigns as well as supporters of the #WeWantCody movement.

Kittle revealed being The Rock’s fanboy

George Kittle’s plan to have all three guys compete in the main event was well-received online, but it may not be enough to appease Cody Rhodes and advance the Bloodline plot. Since Kittle is a huge Rock fan, he has no desire to steal the show from the Rock sensation.

However, he is not a new face for the wrestling community. Last year, the 49ers tight end made an unexpected cameo at WrestleMania 39, which caused quite a stir. The audience went wild as he helped Pat McAfee win by assisting with a clothesline move on The Miz.

Famed fan George Kittle expressed his enthusiasm for The Rock in a September 2019 backstage interview at SmackDown. The ceremony took place in San Francisco’s Chase Center, and he was there with his 49ers teammates.

At ringside, Kittle and quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo were spotted enjoying the action. Kittle was later interviewed by WWE, during which he expressed his love for wrestling and even attempted to recreate The Rock’s persona. Overjoyed to attend SmackDown, Kittle, a lifelong fan of The Rock, mentioned, “I have been a huge Rock fan for most of my life, and, in fact, I get a response.”

Oh, hi, this is Md Robin Ahmed, a WWE fan and I everyday go through a slew of popular WWE stories on Sportszion. Watching Big Show's Showstopper was the beginning of my passion for WWE, though I have to say that his Chokeslam is not one of my favorite moves. Over time, my love for professional wrestling has intensified, mostly due to the Shield, and my all-time favorite wrestler in WWE is Big Dog. I would give everything to be able to be within a few feet of him to witness his iconic Superman Punch and Spear. My major is engineering, but I'm most happy when I'm doing something artistic that doesn't put me under any pressure. Watching them wrestle and discuss their matches is always fun for me. And I've finally discovered a career that gives me fun since it allows me to with my dream heroes lifestyle. So, Welcome! I'd love to hear from you on LinkedIn and Facebook.
