Lately, tensions have been at an all-time high between the Judgment Day members. First, it was the misunderstanding between Finn Balor and Damian Priest, with the latter often costing Balor a few matches due to some interferences. Added to that, JD McDonagh’s interference in the team’s business has also caused a few problems between them. But now, it looks like Rhea Ripley might be looking to put an end to all this after the upcoming Payback event.
The Judgment Day members have one of the closest relationships on WWE Television today. The hellish group has been together since last year when they kicked out Edge and took in Dominik Mysterio. Since then, they have dominated both brands, using underhanded means to help each other win and remain on the top for a long time. But in the past month or so, the group has seen some rift among themselves, with tensions continuing to rise between Finn Balor and Damian Priest.
Rhea Ripley issues stern warning to Judgment Day members
For some weeks, it was rumored that there might be a few changes in Judgment Day, with either Damian Priest or Finn Balor being the top candidates to get replaced from the group. Now, it looks like the rumors might come true in the next couple of weeks. On Monday Night RAW this week, the Judgment Day members could be seen having a disagreement backstage. Finn Balor could be seen arguing with Damian Priest, telling him that they needed to get it together. Priest agreed, saying that JD McDonagh didn’t matter.
Rhea Ripley: “If The Judgment Day doesn’t walk out with all gold at Payback, then there’s gonna be some changes around here”.

As things got even more heated up between them, Rhea Ripley put a stop to it. She gave them an ultimatum that Balor and Priest must capture the tag team gold from Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens at Payback this week, or else she might make some ‘changes’ to the group. She didn’t exactly reveal what those changes could be, but one can possibly guess that the losers at Payback may get kicked out of the group.
In addition to all this, JD McDonagh has been trying to get on the Judgment Day’s good side for quite some time. He helped them beat down Sami Zayn and Cody Rhodes in the past few weeks. He even helped Damian Priest win his match against Sami Zayn this week on RAW, but The Archer of Infamy did not appreciate his gesture.
Finn Balor and Damian Priest face Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn at WWE Payback
This Saturday at Payback, Finn Balor and Damian Priest are set to take on Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn, whom they have been feuding with for the past few months, for the Tag Team Championships. It was announced at Monday Night RAW this week.
The four men have fought each other before, with the Tag Team Champions often clashing with The Judgment Day. However, this will be the first time that Owens and Zayn have fought Balor and Priest in a tag team match. Previously, the Tag Champs successfully defended their titles against Priest and Dominik Mysterio on the July 18th edition of RAW. And as seen on RAW this week, if Balor and Priest do not win the gold, they might be very well kicked out of the stable by Rhea Ripley.
What does Rhea Ripley have in mind for her team following Payback? Not to mention, she also has a title defense this Saturday against Raquel Rodriguez, who looks to bring the fight to Rhea Ripley. Stay tuned for their match at Payback this Saturday.
