“Will be talked about forever”: The Rock’s deep message before WrestleMania 40 Press Conference

The Rock’s decision to challenge Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 40 has become one of his biggest mistakes in his entire career. The people’s champion is getting a lot of backlash from WWE fans for robbing the rightful opportunity of Cody Rhodes, who earned his title shot by winning the 2024 Men’s Royal Rumble.

Just hours before the WrestleMania 40 Kickoff press conference in Las Vegas, The Rock addressed the WWE Universe with a statement right before signing his WrestleMania contract.

The Rocks 3-word message before WrestleMania Kickoff

WWE released a video of The Rock making his way to attend the WrestleMania 40 Kickoff in Los Vegas on Tuesday. The video featured The Rock making his way out of the airplane in the North Las Vegas airport. The people’s champion was pumped up and gave a short 3-word message for the WWE fans, saying, “Welcome to Vegas. I have a feeling this press conference will be talked about… forever. Signing off… your long-gamer.”

The press event will feature The Rock, the WWE Undisputed Universal Champion Roman Reigns, and 2024 Royal Rumble winner Cody Rhodes, who was originally slated to face Reigns at WrestleMania before The Rock intervened.

WWE has also advertised the injured WWE World Heavyweight Champion, Seth Rollins, who declared an interest in fighting Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania 40. The EST of WWE, Bianca Belair and the WWE Women’s Champion, Rhea Ripley, will also appear at the press conference on Thursday.

This press conference will be held at the site of Super Bowl LVIII, which is scheduled to start this week. With all the expectations, the press conference will be streamed on WWE’s official website, WWE.com and also in Peacock tomorrow at 7 p.m. IST.

“The Great One” least bothered about being the villain in storyline

The WWE Universe was shocked and outraged when The Rock made his surprise return on SmackDown and announced that he would challenge Roman Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship at WrestleMania 40.

Since then, WWE fans have continued to express their disappointment on social media and his actions have turned him into a heel in the eyes of the WWE Universe. The outrage went furious as The Rock’s daughter, Ava, forcefully deactivated her Twitter handle due to death threats over Rock’s involvement in WrestleMania 40.

As per reports, The Rock is aware of all the negative reactions from WWE fans and he really doesn’t care about what people say. Despite the criticism, his return has significantly boosted WWE’s profits, leading him to disregard social media negativity and concentrate solely on the business side of things.

It is also said that the TKO Group, which recently welcomed Rock as its board of directors, is trying to push Rock for this match as a way to distract WWE fans from the lawsuit faced by Vince McMahon due to sexual misconduct.

Despite all this, there are many WWE fans who are hoping that WWE will listen to them and add Cody Rhodes to the main event of WrestleMania 40 to finish his story, which he deserves.
