Luka Doncic talks on breaking LeBron James record
Mavs star Luka Doncic recently appeared on “The Old Man and The Three” podcast hosted by JJ Reddick. During the interview, he expressed his views on a lot of topics, and chasing the scoring record of Lakers ace LeBron James was one of them.
James recently was crowned as the leading scorer after surpassing Kareem Abdul-Jabar’s record, and when Luka was asked about his intention of breaking it, he had an interesting response.
“I am not playing that long, no chance. I am gonna have my farm, I am going to be in Slovenia,” said Luka when asked about his thoughts on breaking LeBron’s record. However, the conversation started when JJ brought a stat up for the most 35-point games before the age of 25.
He stated that Luka was in third place just below Wilt Chamberlin in second and LeBron James at the top. Reddick stated that Luka could beat Wilt before he turned 25 in February this year but it would be impossible to get to Bron.
