Rhea Ripley, the Women’s World Champion, has become one of the most dominant forces in WWE today. She made herself the leader of The Judgement Day, a faction that has been wreaking havoc on both RAW and SmackDown since its formation at WrestleMania Backlash 2022.
Ripley is the main mastermind behind The Judgment Day’s actions and is not afraid to challenge anyone on the WWE roster. With a group of 5 members, The Judgement Day is looking for a new member and in a recent interview, Ripley shared her thoughts about recruiting new members for the faction.
Rhea Ripley wants Cathy Kelley & Samantha Irvin to fight for Judgment Day
The Judgement Day consists of Finn Balor, Damien Priest, JD McDonagh and the leader, Rhea Ripley. Since the arrival of R-Truth, who tries to make his spot as a member of the faction, there were rumors spreading regarding the addition of a new female superstar.
In a interview with Fightful Wrestling, Ripley made her answer for the new possible members for the faction. She said, “You? Him? Absolutely bloody not. It would be Cathy Kelley. Yeah. Mami loves a little bit of Cathy Kelley. Or Samantha. My two girlfriends. I’d bring them in. If I had to pick one? I mean, I want to see them fight and then I’ll make up my mind”.
As a surprise Ripley issued a challenge to two WWE backstage interviewers, Cathy Kelley and Samantha Irvin and wants to see the two interviewers fight for a chance to join her group. She also mentioned them as her girlfriends, who have a close friendship in real life and often involve in playful banter and jokes on social media.
Kelley returned to WWE in October 2022, after leaving the company in February 2020. She had previously worked as a host and interviewer for various WWE shows and platforms and known for her relationship with the Judgement Day member, Finn Balor, that ended in 2019.
On the other hand, Irvin made her debut in 2020, as a ring announcer for NXT and later moved to RAW in the 2023 draft. She is currently engaged to WWE RAW star Ricochet, whom she started dating in late 2021.
Cathy Kelley wishes to ask Rhea Ripley to be her Valentine
After Rhea Ripley’s challenge to Cathy Kelley and Samantha Irvin, fans thought they would clash in the ring. But unexpectedly, Cathy Kelley posted a video of herself on Twitter by mentioning Ripley. Not just mention, she actually wanted Ripley as her Valentine to celebrate the valentine’s day today,
On the post Kelly added, “1 RT and i’ll ask @RheaRipley_WWE to be my valentine”. The video received a lot of reactions from other WWE stars and fans, who found it funny and cute. Ripley also retweeted the video on Twitter, but did not give a clear answer to Cathy’s proposal.

Ripley’s heel persona might prevent her from participating in these kinds of segments. She has no intention of making friends as she prepares to face Nia Jax at the Elimination Chamber and make history.
