Lewis Hamilton’s friend puts ‘salt bae’ Fernando Alonso in check for underestimating Ferrari intentions

The Formula One community was taken aback by the unexpected announcement of Lewis Hamilton’s move to Scuderia Ferrari. While some have applauded his decision, others, including drivers like Fernando Alonso, have raised doubts about the reasons behind his transfer, expressing their concerns through the media with strong language.

Nevertheless, Hamilton’s friend has come to the defence, openly criticizing Alonso’s opinion in a recent statement.

Lewis Hamilton’s friend openly slams Fernando Alonso for doubting

Lewis Hamilton had spoken to the media recently regarding the main reasons for the sudden transfer to the Italian team. He said that it was his “childhood dream” to drive a red Ferrari one day. However, the most experienced driver on the grid currently, Fernando Alonso, has spoken harsh words about Hamilton’s reasoning for switching to another team in such a short period.

However, the British driver has the greatest circle of friends who are willing to support him through any situation, regardless of the consequences. One such friend of his is Daniel ”Spinz” Forrest, who has over 59k followers on Instagram. He prepared a savage reply to the post by commenting, “Salt Bae strikes again,” a statement that showcases the sarcasm involving Alonso’s remarks on Hamilton’s personal life.

Fernando Alonso on Lewis Hamilton’s Ferrari move

Alonso and Hamilton had relatively good relationships with each other, consistently supporting each other’s backs. However, their relationship took a new turn with the Spanish driver’s rude comments over Hamilton’s career decision.

Alonso has refused to believe that the seven-time World Champion took this decision because of his “childhood dream” which apparently, did not exist while signing an extension contract with Mercedes. He said, “It was not his childhood dream 12 months ago, no? Or two months ago, I guess. It was a different dream,” openly criticising Hamilton in front of the media. Although the entire reasoning behind his cruel comments has still not been discovered, the 42-year-old has clearly indicated that he is entirely against the decision.
