Matt Hardy provides the latest update on Jeff Hardy’s AEW injury

Jeff Hardy has a broken nose after the terrible accident. Matt Hardy, who was part of one of the greatest WWE storylines, recently provided the latest update on his brother’s injury. During the latest episode of Extreme Life of Matt Hardy, he said, “It definitely rocked Jeff, and Jeff for sure has a broken nose and that’s really all we know. They’re still going to undergo some more testing and whatnot to try and find out what his total injury is or would be but we know at right now it’s at a minimum a broken nose.”

Jeff Hardy, a prominent figure in the wrestling industry, has faced setbacks due to injuries, and this is not the first time. Despite frustrations over AEW booking, the Hardyz continue to endure. Throughout his WWE tenure, Jeff suffered multiple injuries while performing extreme stunts, yet every time ‘The Charismatic Enigma’ came back better and stronger.

How did Jeff Hardy get that terrible injury?

The February 16 edition of All Elite Wrestling (AEW) Rampage on H-E-B Center in Cedar Park, Texas saw Jeff Hardy facing off against Sammy Guevara. The former WWE Champion Jeff Hardy fought Sammy Guevara in a No DQ Match, where both wrestlers out-maneuvered one another several times but things took a scary turn when Guevara executed a shooting star press on Hardy, which injured him when he took a knee to the head during the match.

Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter reported that Hardy suffered a broken nose and there was no concussion. Being the athlete he is, Jeff Hardy informed the referee that he is okay and proceeded to finish the match as planned.

This is not the first time Sammy accidentally injured a Hardy in a match. Previously, he injured Matt back in 2020 at All Out, where Sammy overshot Matt, causing his head to hit the concrete. This led the doctor to rush over and demand the match be stopped due to the serious injury.

Fans are hoping to see Jeff Hardy make a quick recovery and make his return to the ring soon. Although the wrestler will be out for some time fans are waiting to see the master of ‘Twist of Fate’ making it back and destroy Sammy Guevara once again in a match.
