Patrick and Brittany Mahomes, a guiding light for the Kansas City community, came up to lend a hand during the tragic incident. They initiated #KCStrong, an emergency response fund to help victims and their families, support violence prevention efforts, and enhance mental health services for first responders.
The Mahomes Foundation quickly took action by contributing $50,000 to the Chiefs’ fundraiser to help the victims and others impacted by the tragedy, showing strong solidarity.
Mahomes then rallied his followers to join the cause, urging those who were able to contribute to the relief efforts.
Amid the overwhelming support, he once again showcased why he is respected not just for his skills on the football field but also for his consistent empathy and guidance beyond the gridiron. His initiative was praised by admirers as a shining example of selflessness and empathy, with many calling it a “beautiful initiative”.

The incident on Wednesday, stemming from a dispute among individuals, resulted in the tragic loss of a local DJ’s life and left over 20 others.
