Fans denounce Wild Dogs NXT title win after Bron Breakker signs with SmackDown

Bron Breakker surprised the WWE universe when he made a sudden appearance in the Royal Rumble match at Tropicana Field in Florida. In January 2024, Bron teamed up with Baron Corbin for the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic tournament and the team of Wild Dogs emerged victorious on the tournament.

Recently, Bron Breakker denounced his Wild Dogs NXT title win and joined the Blue Brand, as a main roster athlete. It left WWE fans questioning the point of his title win if he was always intended to join the main roster.

Bron Breaker enters SmackDown main roster

Bron Breakker has had a successful run in the NXT brand of WWE, so much so that he is a potential Paul Heyman guy and now the time has come for the ‘Dog Faced Gremlin’ to make his mark on the main roster. After a spectacular performance in the Royal Rumble, Breaker was finally selected as a SmackDown brand wrestler.

According to rumors, Bron will have his debut match on the main roster on February 23. While the opponent’s name hasn’t been revealed, fans are eagerly awaiting the bout, hoping to witness the master of the ‘Steiner Recliner’ showcase his athleticism and dominance. Rumors claim that the NXT champion will face someone with whom he had a previous history, and this may later evolve into a potential storyline for the wrestler.

Fans confused with Wild Dogs tag-team title win

The 26-year-old WWE star solidified his legacy when he and Baron Corbin battled Tony D’Angelo and Stacks for the NXT Tag Team titles and came out on top. The Wild Dogs earned their title shot by winning the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic tournament. Additionally, Breakker was romantically involved with Cora Jade.

WWE fans are puzzled by the development of Breakker’s storyline. While his tag team victory with Corbin initially generated excitement, the abrupt brand change has left many feeling that the title win has lost its significance. After his match, he said in Royal Rumble Exclusive, “I feel very grateful right now, I feel this is what an opportunity tonight was for me to make a statement and I thought I did that tonight 100%, Things didn’t go my way, but I’m not done with the Judgment Day by any means.”
