Although many stars from various entertainment fields have discussed the ongoing story, pop star Taylor Swift unknowingly became a Bloodline member. While it might seem like a fun crossover, the legendary WWE superstar and member of the Anoa’i Family, Rikishi, disapproved of her being added to one of the biggest wrestling stables.
The upcoming WrestleMania 40 event has become a global phenomenon, and credit for this goes to The Bloodline and Cody Rhodes, who have made it the talk of the town. The addition of The Rock to the story has added an extra layer of excitement.
Rikishi’s 3-word response to viral photo
WWE Hall of Famer and Bloodline member Rikishi responded to an edited picture of Taylor Swift acknowledging Roman Reigns. The American singer-songwriter recently attended Super Bowl LVIII, where her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, who plays for the Kansas City Chiefs in the NFL, won his third Super Bowl.
During the Kansas City Chiefs vs. San Francisco 49ers game last Sunday, Taylor Swift threw up the “We The Ones” gesture, which is commonly used in WWE by The Bloodline and others to acknowledge The Tribal Chief.
Fans quickly inserted Swift into a picture of The Bloodline which went viral on social media. Rikishi noticed and posted it on Instagram with a three-word message.
“Who invited swifty??? !!” wrote Rikishi.
Rikishi shares candid thoughts on WrestleMania 40 controversy
WWE Hall of Famer Rikishi recently shared his unfiltered thoughts on the WrestleMania 40 main event drama involving The Rock, Roman Reigns, and Cody Rhodes. After the controversial WrestleMania 40 Kickoff Press Event, Triple H announced on SmackDown that Cody Rhodes would face Roman Reigns for the Undisputed Universal Championship in the WrestleMania 40 main event.
This decision has left Dwayne Johnson, aka The Rock, without a spot in the main event for now. Many critics and veterans have shared their opinions on the hottest storyline in recent history, with The American Nightmare eager to conclude the story and The Great One vs. The Tribal Chief being a blockbuster match.
Speaking on his “Rikishi Off The Top” podcast, the 58-year-old WWE legend threw in his two cents on the high-stakes drama brewing between The Rock, Rhodes, and Roman Reigns.
“For me I would love to see Cody finally finish the story, right? But, when you look from a business standpoint, do we take it to just thinking about the one person or do we think about what’s going to continue to put a**es in seats? Because right now, it’s really really hard to beat Roman Reigns,” said Rikishi.
