CM Punk reveals his “rush to get healthy” in updated recovery timeline

CM Punk’s highly anticipated return to WWE faced a setback at last month’s Royal Rumble due to a torn triceps. Punk was eliminated in the Rumble match by Cody Rhodes after Drew McIntyre delivered a Future Shock DDT. WrestleMania this year will not feature him as he acknowledged his injuries on Raw.

Despite the disappointment, Punk is hopeful and aims to heal before making a comeback. Expressing a desire to stay active while incapacitated, he has outlined an approximate schedule for his recovery post-triceps injury.

CM Punk provides recovery update

Although CM Punk made a triumphant comeback to WWE at the Royal Rumble, he will not be able to compete at WrestleMania XL due to a torn triceps. He courageously battled through the injuries until the end of the bout, but Cody Rhodes eventually eliminated him. The assault that McIntyre made was the reason why Punk addressed his absence on RAW.

It has been determined that CM Punk will be sidelined for a period of six to eight months owing to a torn triceps muscle. He had Seth Rollins as a potential opponent at WrestleMania 40, but that arrangement has already fallen through.

In an interview that took place at UFC 298, Punk, who was both upset and determined, spoke about his comeback and his initial WrestleMania goals. He made light of his injuries by joking about being a “clumsy idiot,” bringing up his history of triceps tears before this one.

Punk’s health is more important to him than making a hasty return to the ring, and he is working for a complete recovery. In the interview, The Best in the World said, “We’re thinking maybe 6 to 8 months, but I’m not really in a rush to get back to compete. I’m in a rush to get healthy. I’m in a rush to get better. The sooner I do that, the better I’ll be when I come back.”

CM Punk comments on the Rock’s return

Due to CM Punk’s withdrawal from WrestleMania 40, WWE has enlisted The Rock as a replacement superstar. Roman Reigns will defend his WWE Universal Championship against Cody Rhodes, the victor of the 2024 Royal Rumble.

Punk recently expressed his delight at The Rock’s comeback, citing their history together in main event programs. The Rock took fans by surprise when he turned heel and joined forces with The Bloodline, after his tease of a fight with his cousin Roman Reigns. Last Friday, ‘The Tribal Chief’ officially welcomed The Rock to the group.

recent interview with TNT Sports had CM Punk gushing about The Rock’s comeback and the positive changes that have taken place in the world of professional wrestling in the last ten years. CM Punk said, “I think it’s fantastic. Ten years ago, I was the guy that was wrestling The Rock when he came back, and now ten years later, he’s coming back, and I think the landscape has completely changed, right?”

Oh, hi, this is Md Robin Ahmed, a WWE fan and I everyday go through a slew of popular WWE stories on Sportszion. Watching Big Show's Showstopper was the beginning of my passion for WWE, though I have to say that his Chokeslam is not one of my favorite moves. Over time, my love for professional wrestling has intensified, mostly due to the Shield, and my all-time favorite wrestler in WWE is Big Dog. I would give everything to be able to be within a few feet of him to witness his iconic Superman Punch and Spear. My major is engineering, but I'm most happy when I'm doing something artistic that doesn't put me under any pressure. Watching them wrestle and discuss their matches is always fun for me. And I've finally discovered a career that gives me fun since it allows me to with my dream heroes lifestyle. So, Welcome! I'd love to hear from you on LinkedIn and Facebook.
