NBA Rumors: Bucks ready to accept Giannis Antetokounmpo’s trade to Warriors but only on one condition

The Golden State Warriors have a sense of urgency looming around them, with superstar Stephen Curry having just a few more seasons left in his gas tank.

With that in mind, the Warriors are ready to make strong moves in the league, such as bringing Giannis Antetokounmpo to the team—a move that will be accepted by the Bucks, only on one condition.

Giannis Antetokounmpo to Warriors trade details

The Milwaukee Bucks are having a very rocky season, and with each passing game, the team’s chances of success in the finals are depleting rapidly due to coach Doc Rivers’ absent sense of leadership and strategy for the team. Rivers’ apathy towards success is leading the team away from Giannis Antetokounmpo’s goal of winning multiple championships with the franchise.

The Golden State Warriors are patiently waiting on the opportunity to grab Giannis Antetokounmpo, giving him the chance to form a super team alongside Stephen Curry, Draymond Green and Klay Thompson. Surprisingly, the Bucks have a very submissive response to such rumors and are willing to let the trade happen under their supervision, provided the Warriors agree to a solitary condition set by the Bucks.

In order for the trade to go through, the Milwaukee Bucks are demanding the return of Jonathan Kuminga along with other tradeable assets that the team can use immediately in the budding trade market. The precursor to this condition is that Giannis has to use his player empowerment and specifically ask to be traded to the Warriors, a request the Bucks will most likely entertain due to the success and glory the Bucks received through Giannis Antetokounmpo.

Giannis Antetokounmpo’s potential team up with basketball great, Stephen Curry will let multiple NBA fans see their dreams come true and it would most definitely be a period of excitement and scariness for the league.

Bucks fail to deliver under new HC Doc Rivers

About a few weeks ago, the Milwaukee Bucks stunned the basketball fraternity by firing their coach Adrian Newey and immediately replacing him with veteran coach Doc Rivers. While the coach was brought in with the intentions of resolving the team’s defensive issues, Rivers has been beyond ineffective and the hire has led to the creation of problems rather than solving of problems.

In 10 games with the franchise, Doc Rivers has been far from the coach that the Bucks had in mind. Ineffective strategies combined with the lack of defense and offensive structure have led to the Bucks sudden downfall, going 3-7 in 10 games under Doc’s tutelage.

Interestingly, it is to be noted that Rivers was quite hesitant to take up the venture with the Bucks after he reportedly raised concerns with the management asking them why Newey was fired.

While the coach has been hesitant to take up the role, he has also shown a sense of hesitation in establishing an identity for the team that has led to the team’s downfall within the league, indirectly leading to the Bucks entertaining trade requests from teams such as the Golden State Warriors.

Fans of the Milwaukee Bucks will hope that the All-Star break has helped the team rebolster themselves as they get ready to face the mighty Minnesota Timberwolves right after the break, a challenge that could make or break the resolve of the Bucks.
