“So you’re my jeweler’s favorite quarterback,” Gardner said to Rodgers before giving him the surprise gift in a video posted to social media. “You know what I mean, Al the Jeweler, so he wanted to cook up something special for you. He brought the idea to me, I said I think it would be a good idea.”
The 39-year-old was spotted accepting the cornerback’s special gift with a big smile and providing his gratitude for the surprise gift.
The love and admiration that the 18 seasons veteran quarterback is collecting from the Jets should serve as great motivation going forward. However, the quarterback-cornerback relationship has seemingly reached new heights before the start of the season.
