Cody Rhodes to have a busy schedule in the run-up to WWE WrestleMania 40

Cody Rhodes surprised the world by challenging Roman Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship at WrestleMania 40 in April. ‘The American Nightmare’ has made it clear that his dispute with Roman Reigns and his cousin, The Rock, will only end when he emerges victorious and achieves the resolution of his story.

Recently, WWE released Cody Rhodes’s upcoming schedule on their official website ahead of the WrestleMania 40 event at Lincoln Financial Field, surprising WWE fans with the busy timetable ahead for the master of ‘Cross Rhodes’.

Cody Rhodes will be very busy before WWE WrestleMania 40

Cody Rhodes is going to clash with the ‘Leader of the Bloodline’ at WM 40 this April. WWE fans were shocked after Rhodes changed his decision to fight Seth Rollins and instead decided to fight ‘The Tribal Chief’.

Rhodes’s recent WWE events schedule was released on different social media sites. The post showed that out of 19 live events before WrestleMania 40, Cody will be seen in 17 shows before his match for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship.

‘The American Nightmare’ will attend eight ‘Road to WrestleMania’ events in the whole month of March. He will also be seen in three Friday Night SmackDown events and three Monday Night RAW events.

In the February 26 episode of RAW, Cody Rhodes faced off against Grayson Waller. After a grueling match, Rhodes successfully delivered his finisher and pinned Waller to get the victory. Right after the match, Paul Heyman, ‘The Wiseman’ of the Bloodline decided to take matters into his own hands and brought three guys in suits to attack Rhodes.

Cody Rhodes destroyed Heyman’s goons and announced that he was coming for the ‘Head of the Table,’ and even if it takes taking down the Rock to get his revenge then he would gladly do so. Near the end, he said he is hunting the bloodline and not the other way around.

WWE SmackDown to feature Cody Rhodes this week

Cody Rhodes is scheduled to appear in the March 1 episode of Friday Night SmackDown. The 38-year-old WWE star will address Roaman Reigns and his faction in the upcoming segment. This week’s SmackDown will be at Glendale, Arizona. The Rock is also scheduled to attend the Blue brand event.

Cody has challenged ‘The Brahma Bull’ before in a singles match. The master of ‘Cody Cutter’ vowed that he would slap The Rock back for humiliating him and his family in the WrestleMania press conference. WWE fans are highly anticipating the endgame as the storyline progresses.

The Bloodline will join this week’s event and some fans are speculating that a potential clash between the Cody Rhodes and the faction will take place. Although Rock’s match for WrestleMania is still undecided, fans are claiming that Cody should fight Rock on WrestleMania night one, and after defeating Rock should he battle Roman Reigns for his title.
