Since his debut in 2002 for Sporting CP, he has gone on to play for the likes of Manchester United, Real Madrid, and Juventus. He won numerous trophies for them while also bringing continental glory to his nation, Portugal.
However, he has left the European stage at last and is currently at Saudi Pro League club Al Nassr. And it seems the end of his career is also coming very soon.

Cristiano Ronaldo is still bossing it around for Al-Nassr in Saudi Arabia, but he only recently turned 39 last month. He won’t be the same player as before and will certainly see a dip in form or injuries will haunt him. The forward and his family must surely be thinking about his future already and when the end will come.
And though Ronaldo has been generally tight-lipped about his immediate future, his girlfriend, Georgina Rodriguez, seems to have somewhat confirmed it.

Recently, she was the center of attention at the prestigious Paris Fashion Week, where she donned a CR7-styled and signed outfit to pay tribute to her partner. As the end of the event was approaching, she was posing for some photos with other models.
And it was then that she was asked about her partner’s retirement. And she replied, “Cristiano one more year, then itās over. Maybe two, I don’t know.” It is certainly surprising, as it implies that we may only be seeing the Portuguese soccer sensation play until next year or 2026 at best.
Ronaldo opened up about retiring at Al Nassr
Cristiano Ronaldo seemed to have a different timeline for his timeline earlier, according to Marca. Apparently, the five-time Ballon d’Or winner wanted to play at the 2026 World Cup in a last bid to win the prestigious tournament. Some Saudi Arabian reports suggested that he could also retire from his current club, Al-Nassr, and would be willing to sign a contract extension until the beginning of 2027.
The former Manchester United talisman would be 41 by that time, but it doesn’t seem age would be an issue for him. After all, he is one of the fittest athletes who does anything to gain an edge. He previously said he will retire when his body gives up, “I still love football in spite of my age, as I still love playing, scoring goals, winning games. That’s why I will continue until my body says ‘Cristiano, it’s over’.”
Cristiano Ronaldo does not seem to be stopping anytime soon either, and he will now face Al-Ain tomorrow as part of his team’s first leg fixture in the AFC Champions League.
