Tad Prescott recently stirred the NFL quarterback debate with his list of the top 10 current QBs. At the helm of his list sits Patrick Mahomes. The Kansas City Chiefs quarterback is undeniably one of the league’s most electrifying talents, having secured consecutive Super Bowl titles.
Tad placed Dak Prescott in the second spot. He has always been there for Dak to fight with his critics. He earlier said to be “done with drama” caused by “so-called fans” Cowboys fans. He also said he wants his brother out of this squad.
Tad acknowledges the exceptional skills and valuable contributions of Lamar Jackson, Josh Allen, and Aaron Rodgers, which is why he includes them in the top five. Nevertheless, his choice to rank Joe Burrow and Tua Tagovailoa higher than experienced veterans such as Matthew Stafford and Jared Goff reflects his confidence in the bright prospects of these emerging talents.
Some fans may find it surprising to see Joe Flacco, an experienced campaigner, included. Nevertheless, Flacco’s impressive performance with the Cleveland Browns last season and his well-deserved recognition as the Comeback Player of the Year make a strong case for his inclusion on Tad’s list.
Interestingly, Tad’s list does not include Brock Purdy of the San Francisco 49ers. Despite the 49ers impressive run to the NFC Championship last season, he chose not to include Mr. Irrelevant.

“You said quarterbacks, not running backs,” Tad quipped via Fox Sports, alluding to Hurts’ impressive rushing abilities.
Hurts has been making waves both on the ground and through the air. He is coming off a record-breaking season in which he notched an NFL-best 15 rushing touchdowns for a quarterback. However, Prescott’s remark subtly downplayed Hurts’ passing prowess, stoking the flames of rivalry between the Cowboys and Eagles fans.
Nevertheless, Tad lauded the Eagles’ front office as “the best in the NFL” following their aggressive maneuvers in free agency. Philly’s bold acquisitions, including Saquon Barkley and C.J. Gardner-Johnson, served as a stark contrast to the Cowboys’ relatively subdued offseason activity. This comparison even earned him a brutal jab from Stephen A. Smith.
