Roman Reigns & Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson will team up on April 6 to face off against Cody Rhodes & Seth Rollins, determining the Bloodline’s involvement in the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship match. Both nights of WrestleMania 40 will feature ‘The Tribal Chief’ and ‘The American Nightmare’ along with their ongoing storyline.

‘The Big Dog’ recently teased ‘The Architect’ Seth Rollins by referring to him as a ‘WrestleMania virgin’, indicating that Rollins has never main-evented the “Grandest Stage of All Time” and suggesting that he is undeserving of this opportunity.

Why did Roman Reigns call Seth Rollins a ‘WrestleMania virgin’?

Roman Reigns is scheduled for two matches in the ‘Show of Shows’. The first fight on April 6 is a tag team match, while the second is a singles title match. This upcoming match will feature Seth Rollins’ first-ever WrestleMania main event. ‘The Tribal Chief’, aware of this fact, recently teased ‘The Revolutionary’ on Twitter, calling him a ‘WrestleMania virgin’.

Being proud of his achievement, Rollins posted his 2012 Twitter post, where he said, “I will main event #WrestleMania one day. And we’ll change the world together.”

Roman being the antagonist of Seth’s story, took this post and shared his own thoughts on social media. Reigns took the 2005 movie: ‘The 40 Year Old Virgin’ as an reference to mock his adversary, with Seth Rollins’ face over the original cover that featured Hollywood star, Steve Carrell.

The first night of WrestleMania 40 will see The Rock and Roman Reigns teaming together against Seth Rollins and Cody Rhodes. The second night will see Rollins again, defending his WWE World Heavyweight Championship against ‘The Scottish Warrior’ Drew McIntyre.

Only Seth Rollins has clean pinned Roman Reigns in singles several times

Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns have clashed multiple times throughout the years. Their last match at Royal Rumble 2022 saw them battling like never before.

Although the fight ended in The Big Dog’s favor, Rollins still ensured it was a hard-fought victory. This match also saw Seth donning his signature vest and using The Shield’s theme for his entrance.

Seth Rollins is the only wrestler in recent times, who has cleanly pinned Reigns in singles match several times. ‘The Visionary’ first achieved this feat at the 2016 Money in The Bank for the WWE Championship. However, Rollins lost his title instantly after Dean Ambrose used his MITB briefcase to cash in his contract. The master of the ‘Stomp’ secured his second victory at Monday Night RAW on February 19, 2018, where he won the match via disqualification.
