Cody Rhodes confirms new contract with WWE
Cody Rhodes has already proven to be a crucial asset for WWE in recent times. From his rivalry with Roman Reigns to his blood feud with ‘The Final Boss’ The Rock, Rhodes has proved time and time again that he is the future of WWE. And it is no surprise that WWE knows Cody’s potential and this has led to a new contract signing for ‘The American Nightmare’.
In an interview with Justin Walker, the fan-favorite wrestler, the master of ‘Cross Rhodes’ confirmed that he has signed a multi-year contract to extend his time with the company. Cody added that his new deal with WWE extends beyond his 40th birthday and he is still far from his prime.
“It extends beyond my 40th birthday. The plan is still, when it’s time to step out, to step out without it being a painful process. Solely because I saw my dad [Dusty Rhodes] as an old man wrestler and he loved it and enjoyed it, but as his son it was hard to see. My daughter is two going on three, there does have a be a time, just like he was with us, where I have to be home all the time and be there with her. I hit the prime run late in the game. I often forget that I’m nearing 40,” said Cody Rhodes.
