Doncic continued the trend with another outrageous shot against the Rockets on Sunday night, which earned him plaudits from a former hoopster. The ex-NBA star in question is none other than Kevin Garnett.

Luka Doncic received heaps of praise from former NBA players and this time it was Kevin Garnett’s turn to give Doncic his flowers. KG was shocked by the Mavs’ guard’s last-second addition of two points from within the 3-point arc with an insane technique.
Praising Doncic on his Instagram story, the “Big Ticket” wrote, “LUCkA THE DON say word Man bro out here playing horse.. making it look simple” along with a dozen of emojis. Garnett lauded Luka for making a difficult underhand shot look so effortless that most known figures in the league wouldn’t attempt it.

Doncic has been putting up gigantic numbers to his name, averaging 34 points, 9.1 rebounds, and 9.8 assists while shooting at 48.9% from the floor and 38% from the 3-point range, proving his worth in the 2024 MVP contender race.
