The Rock thanks NXT trio for helping him train for WrestleMania 40

The Rock made his highly anticipated return to in-ring competition at WrestleMania 40. He was in action against the team of Seth Rollins and Cody Rhodes in a tag team match alongside Roman Reigns that headlined the first night of WrestleMania. The Rock stood tall at the end of the night as the match ended in a victory for the Bloodline duo.

Getting back in the ring after years of absence was not an easy task for the Final Boss, and it needed some preparation. The Rock took to social media to thank the people who helped him get back in ring shape before the match. The helping hands in question are Gallas, the NXT trio.

Stating his gratitude, Dwayne Johnson wrote, “Appreciate all the effort, ideas and hard work boys. Til next time. Keep kicking ass and see ya down the road.”

Gallas consists of Wolfgang and real-life brothers Mark and Joe Coffey. Wolfgang and Mark Coffey held the NXT UK tag team championship and NXT tag team championship during their time with the black and yellow brand.

The Rock’s last few words in the statement hold significance as the Brahma Bull has already set his eyes on the next WrestleMania. The Hollywood star’s generosity has no bounds, and the Gallus were not the only ones to receive kind words from him.

The Rock previously thanked released WWE star

The Rock made his electrifying return on WWE TV earlier this year and was confronted by Jinder Mahal. The former 3 MB member recently shared what happened after their segment.

Speaking to Chris Van Vliet, Jinder Mahal said, “He sent me a voice note, like, ‘Thank you, appreciate working with you, I’ll be seeing a lot more of you around now that I’m doing things all across the board with WWE’.”

Though Mahal was released last week by WWE, his work with The Rock was highly appreciated backstage. Currently, The People’s Champ is investing energy into his next movie project, but the Final Boss will surely make his return to WWE after he is done with his side quests.
