The model was detained for alleged spycraft
On her Instagram account, the 43-year-old model shared an intriguing incident from her past involving an encounter at the Los Angeles airport. She revealed that she was once mistaken for a spy by customs officials during a luggage check.
“Instead of asking some real questions, the officer decided to talk about our president [Vladimir Putin]. Finding out everything about my position, he started talking about the KGB.” Bonya said.
The suspicion arose when they came across a business card belonging to a video camera company. Despite the serious nature of the situation, Victoria took the incident in stride and remained calm throughout.
“I started laughing, as I really thought it was a joke until they asked me the same thing for a third time! It was a big shock! I thought that was it and that they will deport me asap.” Victoria added.
