According to some reports, Vince McMahon said that WWE had been in a stagnant position, which compelled the promotion to seek out a merger to maintain itself in the industry. Although right now Vince might not be the Chairman of the promotion, he has been made the Executive Chairman of TKO Group Holdings. Vince McMahon will continue to make his presence known within the WWE with his new role. Although his son-in-law, Triple H, is no longer a board member of WWE, However, Vince is still a board member of the company even after the merger.
