The video now circulating around the internet, setting MMA fans into a frenzy, shows Demetrious Johnson mimicking elite fighters in the UFC. Johnson was seen mimicking the movements of top fighters at the command of his friend/videographer.
The current One Flyweight MMA champion was seen mimicking Israel Adesanya, Sean O’Malley, Henry Cejudo, Dustin Poirier, Dominick Cruz, Sean Strickland, Conor McGregor, and Khabib Nurmagomedov. In the end, Johnson was asked to mimic himself, to which he showed his iconic celebration.
Johnson is one of the most well-rounded fighters in MMA. The talent of the 37-year-old fighter is so massive that he has drawn comparisons with Jon Jones, the two-division champion who often features in GOAT debates. Joe Rogan even pondered who would win a hypothetical bout between Johnson and Jones if they were the same size.
Mighty Mouse recently concluded his trilogy with Adriano Moraes at One Fight Night 10, the promotion’s first show in the USA. Johnson lost his first meeting with Moraes via KO to which he returned the favor in the rematch. The trilogy fight ended in a unanimous decision victory for the American fighter.
