After dating for several years, Marcus Smart decided to marry Maisa Hallum, his long-time partner. In attendance of close friend and family, Marcus and Maisa exchanged vows of staying together in sickness and in health.
Marcus Smart ties knot with longtime girlfriend
Maisa Hallum, born in California, is a creative director and businesswoman. She also co-owns Sousa Swim. Maisa made the limelight after she started dating Boston Celtics guard Marcus Smart in 2018.
Now Marcus Smart has married Maisa Hallum last week in California. On September 16, the Memphis Grizzlies player and his girlfriend tied the knot at The Resort at Pelican Hill in Newport Coast, California. They celebrated with 300 of their closest family and friends.
Commemorating the occasion, Marcus said “What can I say? Dreams do come true and this was the most incredible day.”
One of the most fascinating things about Smart’s wedding is that most of his former teammates in the NBA were there to grace the ceremony. After the marriage, Marcus will now turn his attention to the NBA training camp that will open in a matter of days in preparation for the new season. However, the point guard will look to better his Memphis Grizzlies stats where he had an average of 11.5 points, 3.1 rebounds, and 6.3 assists per game last season.

Jayson Tatum is enjoying his offseason to the fullest before the next season’s hard work starts. The Boston Celtics are set to contend for the title once again, and the 25-year-old is aiming for the MVP award. Recently, he attended his former teammate Marcus Smart’s wedding, having a great time. His girlfriend music sensation Ella Mai accompanied him, and they were photographed together.
During the event, Jayson Tatum looked sharp in a green suit, while the 28-year-old Ella Mai also wore a green dress, as if reflecting the green the Boston Celtics.
