The New England Patriots fans will never forget the name of Tom Brady, who emerged as a lifesaver for the team and changed the fortunes of the team within a few seasons. Is Tom Brady going to have a TV series?
The Gotham Group plans to produce a scripted limited series named “The Patriot Way” to commemorate Tom Brady’s illustrious 20-season Patriots career. The inspiration for this series comes from a 2018 book by Casey Sherman and Dave Wedge, both from Boston, titled “12: The Inside Story of Tom Brady’s Fight for Redemption.”
The show will be adapted by screenwriters Paul Tamasy and Eric Johnson. Ellen Goldsmith-Vein will produce the show for the Gotham Group. Interestingly, this marks the third collaboration between the screenwriters and authors.
Reportedly, since TB12 and all of his former teammates are famous personalities, the filmmaking team won’t be requesting any image rights to represent the Patriots legend or the team. The Former Tampa Bay Buccaneers player is apparently not engaged in creating the series.
