After NBA icon LeBron James’ appreciation post, Bronny James was released from the hospital following cardiac scare at USC practice

High-intensity sports like basketball can have negative effects on an athlete’s health. Such a case occurred recently with the legendary basketball player Lebron James’s son. Rapid medical assistance and emergency care at Cedars-Sinai Medical Centre were provided to the 18-year-old Bronny James after he experienced a cardiac arrest scare during a USC training session.

After his son Bronny was released from the hospital on Thursday, James took to social media to thank fans for their outpouring of support.

Bronny James released from hospital after USC practice cardiac scare

LeBron James elder son Bronny James was seen to having a lot of potential. The NBA community was excited to see him play at USC and were excited to see him in the next year’s draft. He is many times seen playing and training with his father King James. Recent NBA draft boards have Bronny ranked as high as No. 36, indicating that he could likely be selected early in the 2024 NBA draft.

After undergoing treatment for cardiac arrest at Cedars-Sinai Medical Centre Bronny James, son of NBA superstar LeBron James, was released. The cardiologist has high hopes for Bronny’s future recovery, praising his strength of character and the love and care he has received from his loved ones.

Many were relieved to hear that Bronny’s health had stabilized, however, the reason for the cardiac arrest is still unknown. Shareef O’Neal, son of Shaquille O’Neal, reached out to the family after his own open-heart surgery, and athletes, celebrities, and fans all provided words of support.

The King has thanked fans for their support and promised additional details will be released when the James family was ready to do so.

Bronny is considered by many to be a highly gifted athlete who apparently wants to continue with USC despite the current health concern, and he is expected to join the Trojans’ strong squad with top prospect Isaiah Collier.

However, considering how competitive mainline basketball can get, it would probably be best for the youngster to undergo appropriate medical checkups and unnecessary treatments before he shows up in the big leagues.

LeBron James offers his gratitude toward the NBA community

Just like most other parents, LeBron was likely worried out of his mind when he learned of his 18-year-old son, Bronny, suffering a cardiac arrest scare. The panic finally seems to have turned to relief as the James family received a “stable” update on Bronny’s condition. They requested privacy as they focused on their eldest son’s recovery.

“We ask for respect and privacy for the James family, and we will update the media when there is more information,” said a representative spokesperson.

“We feel you and I’m so grateful. Everyone doing great. We have our family together, safe and healthy, and we feel your love. Will have more to say when we’re ready but I wanted to tell everyone how much your support has meant to all of us!” LeBron James wrote. The King is now focused on being around his son and family to provide care and support to them.
