Max Verstappen, the unstoppable driver has created one of the most phenomenal history once again. It was predicted way before, by the audience as well as certain experts in the Industry about Verstappen’s third consecutive victory, making him the ultimate F1 King of this generation.
The driver never ceased to surprise us with his smooth delivery of performances during the race. On Saturday’s sprint race, Verstappen achieved his third title in the Formula One Championship.
Max Verstappen follows Sebastian Vettel’s footsteps
On Saturday’s sprint race, in the Qatar Grand Prix, Max started his race in the third place and finished in second position, behind the Australian driver, Oscar Piastri. By doing so, Verstappen was declared the Champion three times in a row. The driver is leading with 184 points now, left with only 174 points to achieve, for the Championship.

The three-time World Champion has won 13 out of 16 Grand Prix so far, with a record of 10 consecutive wins. He also became the youngest driver to clinch the third title of the Championship, following the footsteps of his ancestor, Sebastian Vettel, a retired Formula One driver who won the third title as well in 2012, at the age of 25.
Verstappen had his triple World Championship in the Sprint Race, the last person to accomplish a third title in a sprint race was a Brazilian driver, Nelson Piquet, in the 1980s.
When asked about his feelings after the win, Max replied “ Yeah unbelievable guys. I don’t know what to say. Thank you for providing me with such a car. It’s been a lot of fun this year.”
Verstappen teammate Sergio Perez suffers another disastrous qualifying session
On the other hand, Sergio Perez had a terrible season so far. The Mexican had to finish in the top three at the Qatar Grand Prix, to keep on racing for the next day as the main race was on Sunday. However, his dreams were soon shattered to pieces as he got caught up with Alphine’s Esteban Ocon and Haas’s Nico Hulkenberg on lap 11 of the race. Due to this, his car was stuck in the gravel, and ultimately was forced to leave the race.

He reflected on his poor delivery of performances by saying “It was quite difficult out there today, we struggled for balance a lot and we had so many issues that I couldn’t really fix any of them. Every corner was different and the conditions here made it tricky.”
“It is not over, it is obviously going to be very difficult to pass in the race here, especially with the track conditions we currently have but we will see what we are able to do and recover from there on Sunday. Tomorrow is a new day and we have the chance to put in a better performance across the Sprint format.”
