David Beckham is one of the world’s greatest soccer icons, having played for many big clubs during his career, including Manchester United, Real Madrid, Paris Saint Germain and others. He is known globally due to his skills as a player and his fashion sense.
Currently, Beckham is still involved in soccer as the co-owner of MLS club Inter Miami, which now boasts the likes of Lionel Messi, Sergio Busquets and Jordi Alba. But the Englishman also has some other interests in life, including owning many expensive properties.
Inside Beckham’s farmhouse
One of the Beckham family’s most expensive properties is the farmhouse, the Cotswolds cottage, which was modeled after their dream home. The family spends their time on the property on the weekends and has spared no expense to make it comfortable for them. Most recently, the property was used for the David Beckham Netflix documentary named ‘Beckham.’
They had purchased the comfy home back in December 2016 for a price of £6.15 million. Since then, they have added a gym and a sauna to the already luxurious cottage. Furthermore, they took things up a notch when they added a £50,000 safari tent and a football pitch as well.
All of these additions have further doubled the value of the expensive farmhouse, which now stands at around £12 million. The surrounding country space has also been remodeled thanks to award-winning gardener Marcus Barnett.
According to NationalWorld, the house was put on sale for both rent and purchase back in January. It was due to the traffic and noise they faced due to a nearby busy road. However, it is unknown if they will leave it now.
David Beckham and his property portfolio
The farmhouse is not the only property of David Beckham, who has built up quite an impressive property portfolio, along with fashion designer wife Victoria Beckham.
The English soccer legend has a £31 million townhouse in London which has seven rooms. It was bought in 2013 and the Beckham family has spent millions to renovate it further. It remains one of their most expensive properties.
Seeing how the family has to live in Miami quite a lot due to David’s affiliation with Inter Miami, they also boast a penthouse in the city. Located in the One Hundred Museum building, it boasts several terraces from which many panoramic views of both Biscayne Bay and the Atlantic Ocean can be viewed. The penthouse is said to emulate a seven-star hotel and is valued at £19 million.
David Beckham also boasts a £5 million yacht, which was aptly named ‘Seven’ as it was the jersey number he wore during his playing days. Standing at 93 foot tall, the family lived in luxury there during their son Brooklyn’s wedding with Nicola Peltz in 2022.
Beckham is also said to own a £4 million apartment in Burj Khalifa and an £8 million home in Dubai which he gifted to wife Victoria Beckham‘s parents.
It is clear the Beckham’s like to live lavishly amid all their expensive properties. David Beckham will be quite proud of his achievements and it remains to be seen what else the soccer icon does in the future.
