Aaron Rodgers had a sparkling career with the Green Bay Packers before landing to the New York Jets with his desire to lead the franchise to a possible Super Bowl campaign However, his Jets journey has become a reunion and interesting one for him following his joining of many of his former teammates and former Packers offensive coordinator Nathaniel Hackett.
Meanwhile, after joining the Jets, Hackett has become as a popular target of the Denver Broncos’ head coach Sean Payton. Hence, after the Jets’ convincing win against the Broncos, the Jets quarterback sparked one-word light-hearted banter on Payton.

Soon after taking responsibility for the Broncos this season, Payton raised his eyebrows at Hackett’s abilities in using the athletic prowess of Russel Wilson. The Broncos’ HC also did not shy from mentioning Nathaniel’s tenure in Denver as “one of the worst coaching jobs in the history of the NFL.” Aaron Rodgers had come out as the first Jets player to throw some insightful answers on Payton following his ugly remarks.
In the meantime, the Jets and Broncos met in a battle that was nothing less than a battle between Payton and Hackett in proving their coaching prowess. Fortunately, the Jets played wholeheartedly and led their coach to have the last laugh. Following the winning night, A-rod couldn’t resist taking a playful jab at Payton stating Hackett as the winner of the night over Payton.
In his X account, the 39-year-old Aaron Rodgers wrote “W.#hackett,” after his team ended up pulling off a 21-31 victory against the Broncos.

Though Sean had previously blamed Hackett, he himself failed to use Russel’s supremacy and assist the Broncos in having a winning streak. Under his guidance the team already stands in 1-4 while the Jets stands in 2-3 and another victory over the Kansas City Chiefs might have been added in this row if some unusual incidents did not happen.
The Jets’ official social media page ridicules Sean Payton
The win over the Denver Broncos was a necessary one for the Jets to answer in favor of Hackett. Though Sean Payton later sought an apology for his remarks on Hackett, Rodgers as well as the whole Jets team did not forget it.
Hence, after the clock wound down, the team’s official X account celebrated the win with a well-crafted tweet aimed at Payton. The Jets released a modified picture of an obviously astonished Kevin James with the recognizable visor of the Broncos’ head coach.
