After securing a 42-24 victory over the Carolina Panthers at Ford Field, they have now established themselves as a formidable force in the league.

Alex’s parents, who are stuck in Israel, are included in a group from Florida. They are trying to find their way back to the USA, and the NFL star had nothing but to pray for a safe recovery. According to The Detroit News, his parents along with 51 other persons are set to leave the country on Thursday.
Following the Lions win against the Panthers, Anzalone seemed frustrated due to the uncertainty regarding his parent’s condition saying, “It’s hard. “(It’s) really all I’ve been thinking about.”
The LB later made a public plea to President Biden to rescue his parents by retweeting a post of Rep. Byron Donalds’ appearance on “Sunday Morning Futures”.
“My parents are in this group. Please get my parents home… @POTUS.”
Republican U.S. Congressman Byron Donalds said the 53 men are in Jerusalem right now, and added that they are quite frustrated with the situation. Pastor Alan Brumback is with the group on their way back to America and urged the natives to pray for the matter to be resolved peacefully and quickly.
Who is Alex Anzalone’s family?
Alex is one of the three children of Sal and Judy Anzalone who have two other boys- Christopher and Nick Anzalone. His parents had been very supportive of his football career as they were often attended his games in the stadium to cheer him up. His brother Christopher is a physician and Nick is also a Hospitalist.
The Lions star is married to Lindsey Cooper Anzalone. Lindsey serves as a fitness trainer at Orange Theory Fitness and is a Real Estate License holder as well.
