James Harden is having a rough time in his career right now. The former MVP requested to be traded but no deal has been made by the 76ers till now. He was recently seen practicing with the rest of the 76ers amid all the trade rumors surrounding him and this has continued.
Harden was seen doing intensive pregame workouts and even late-clock execution drills. He looks determined to stay in shape and dedicate himself to the team but he has already stated his intentions of getting traded.

The 76ers had a preseason game against the Boston Celtics and although James Harden did not play in the match, he was seen going through a difficult and extended pregame workout. He also worked on his clutching abilities by practicing late-clock execution drills. The video of him participating in this workout has been uploaded on X and has gone viral among the fans who are expressing their mixed opinions.
In the video, Harden can be seen practicing his strong driving skills, which looked to be on par with what people expect from him. Later on, he can be seen attempting a long-range shot from downtown, which makes the basket. James looks serious about getting into shape and increasing that much-needed work rate. He has been trolled on the internet for his degrading physique and form for quite some time now and it looks like he is planning for a dominant comeback.
James Harden trade rumors to Clippers
It has been three months since James Harden requested a trade from the Philadelphia 76ers but nothing has come to fruition. Harden has made his intentions clear of being dedicated to the team (76ers) but also hoping for a trade soon. The Los Angeles Clippers were rumored to be connected with the 76ers for the Harden trade deal but it’s also in a stalemate.
In July, the president of the Sixers, Daryl Morey said that he was open to trading Harden but wouldn’t do it unless he got a good player or something that they could turn into a very good player in return. On the other hand, after the preseason game against the Celtics, it was reported by Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN that the Clippers would like to get a deal done sooner rather than later but are not ready to raise their given offer and match the asking price of Morey.
With only about two weeks to go before the 2023–24 NBA season kicks off, James Harden’s future is still unclear. The Clippers are the only team bidding for him and the president of his current team is not satisfied with what they are offering. Only time will tell if Harden will play for the 76ers or if a deadline day will come to fruition to fulfill his wish of a trade.
