The NFL legend Tom Brady recently acquired a minority share of the WNBA team, the Las Vegas Aces, in March 2023. This was seen as a successful, progressive move for the league and as a hope for a better future. Women’s sports generally have a low audience count when compared to male sports. But now the situation is changing and even popular celebrities are taking part in these sports by endorsing them or purchasing minority shares in the team.
Tom Brady did the exact same thing and also had a fun confrontation with Aces star Kelsey Plum. Brady arrived at game one of the WNBA Finals opener, where the Aces faced the Liberty. It was reported that Kelsey Plum told Brady, who was sitting courtside, that it was about time he showed up.
Brady retweeted this report on X and captioned it, “Nobody is safe from KP,” followed by a laughing emoji. Brady really seemed to enjoy Kelsey and her antics. It is to be remembered that what Kelsey told Brady was just her joking with him and not being disrespectful.

Kelsey Plum’s Las Vegas Aces emerged victorious against the New York Liberty in game one of the WNBA Finals opener. The Aces were led by Kelsey Plum, who had a 26-point game and also showed her rebounding skills by collecting a total of five rebounds. She was assisted by an equally good performance by Jackie Young, who also scored 26 points and collected five rebounds.
The Liberty side, on the other hand, was led by Sabrina Lonescu; however, by the fourth quarter, the Aces had established a 22-point lead. The New York Liberty made a final push in the late game and cut the lead to 13 points but were not able to overtake the Aces. The game ended in a victory for the Aces with a final score of 99-82.
