A new NFL season is knocking at the door, but the Philadelphia Eagles’ Jalen Hurts has not yet healed from the blow of losing the last Super Bowl title to Patrick Mahomes’ Kansas City Chiefs. Mahomes’ squad was successful in rewarding Hurts with a year of nightmares, albeit the signal-caller probably decided to stay optimistic and his recent action ahead of the new season is a signal of that.
Jalen did pretty well in the last season except for his terrible mistake of an unforced fumble that was scooped up by Kansas City’s linebacker Nick Bolton, returning 36 yards for a touchdown. However, the QB looks hell-bent on turning himself into a dual threat by wreaking havoc on the rivals in the upcoming season.
Jalen Hurts’ lock screen motivates him to avenge Super Bowl LVII loss to the Chiefs
An Instagram snap of Jalen’s phone’s lock screen was shared by Eagles Nation when he was at a rookies’ event. However, the twist was that it was not a normal picture of him, the Eagles quarterback’s lock screen showcased him walking off the field after going down to Pat‘s team in the Super Bowl LVII.

Not every player has the courage to use their defeat as a booster. In that sense, Hurts’ determination to overshadow the past by shining brightly in the future is a rather praiseworthy initiative.
The 24-year-old delivered a ray of optimism after the final match as well by saying this defeat will motivate him in the future, “We lost. We came here to win. We came up short. It’s something that I know will motivate me.”

The football prodigy completed 27 of 38 passes for 304 yards along with a touchdown but no interceptions and rushed 15 times for 70 yards while recording three more scores on the ground, marking him the first QB in the league to rush for three touchdowns in the Super Bowl. He also became only the second player overall to earn the mark after Terrell Davis,
Tom Brady once avenged his AFC Championship loss with the Super Bowl XLIX victory
During an episode of the New Heights podcast, the NFL GOAT Tom Brady’s former teammate Julian Edelman recalled how the California Cool lost his cool after losing to the Denver Broncos in the 2013-14 AFC Championship Game,
“We started training in, like, February. And Brady had the location of the Super Bowl on his whiteboard in his gym. And I was like, ‘F***ing naive’, ‘What is this?’ He’s like, ‘That’s where we’re gonna be playing the last game of the year, bro.”
Edelman went on to say TB12 was not just eyeing to showcase good performance on the field. Instead, he wanted the Super Bowl title by hook or by crook, setting high targets on the field,
“I go, ‘I’m gonna help you catch Montana’, ’cause this is when he only had three. He looked at me dead in the face; he goes, ‘I ain’t catching Montana; I’m going for Jordan.”
Indeed, Brady became successful in meeting his bar of expectations and won Super Bowl XLIX. The seven-time Super Bowl champion led the Patriots to a height that was unimaginable once.
Now Brady is out of the field following his retirement in February this year but Hurts still probably has quite a bit of time to exact vengeance.
