The rivalry between LA Knight and Roman Reigns has gained momentum in the last few weeks as the stars have been constantly getting in each other’s way. The stars are set to have a big clash at the upcoming Premium Live Event of WWE in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
They made headlines after their match was announced for WWE Crown Jewel 2023. However, one of the major broadcast partners of WWE made a mistake while reporting that announcement, as they mentioned the wrong account, thinking it was a real account of The Megastar.
WWE on TNT confuses LA Knight’s Twitter handle
LA Knight, aka The Megastar of WWE, and the Undisputed Universal Champion Roman Reigns have been in a rivalry since last week’s episode of SmackDown. But now, after the recent heated confrontations, the rivalry is getting into a solid phase as both are set to face each other at WWE Crown Jewel on November 4. This was confirmed on the latest episode of Friday Night SmackDown, as they will sign contracts for that match in the upcoming week.
Announcing their matchup, “WWE on TNT Sports,” uploaded a tweet on Twitter. They confirmed the match in a tweet, but they made a quite silly yet serious mistake in that tweet. They mentioned a fake account by the name of LA Knight in that tweet instead of mentioning his real Twitter account.
WWE on TNT Sports wrote, “It’s what everyone wanted and we’re getting it! 🍿 @WWERomanReigns vs. @LAKnightWWE is ON for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship! 🏆”.
Here, the account name should have been RealLAKnight instead of LAKnightWWE. This caught the attention of many fans, and they started making fun of that tweet by criticizing the fact that they didn’t mention the real account of The Megastar.

LA Knight vs. Roman Reigns contract signing date set
Roman Reigns had not competed in a singles match since the previous WWE SummerSlam. He was absent from the ring for an extended period until his return on last week’s WWE SmackDown episode. Upon returning, The Head of the Table wasted no time getting in the ring to confront John Cena for the loss Cena caused to The Bloodline faction at Fastlane. However, during that segment, LA Knight made a grand entrance as the next challenger to face Reigns for the Universal Championship.
Later that night, LA Knight faced The Bloodline member Solo Sikoa in a singles match. But Knight got interrupted and eventually received a Spear from Roman Reigns after defeating Sikoa. But The Megastar was also quick to take revenge, as he also attacked Reigns in a recent WWE SuperShow and delivered a BFT to his face.
On the latest episode of Friday Night SmackDown, Paul Heyman opened the show by demeaning LA Knight and boldly claiming that The Head of the Table would defeat Knight if they ever came face to face. However, The Megastar couldn’t accept such outrageous claims about his abilities and made an entrance to interrupt the Wiseman of The Bloodline. After a heated conversation, Knight announced that a contract signing is scheduled for next week’s show for his and Roman Reigns’ match at WWE Crown Jewel 2023.
