LA Knight is currently one of the leading baby faces in WWE. He plays a crucial role in WWE SmackDown and is one of the best merchandise-selling stars in the WWE, with millions of fans supporting him.
He is set to face Roman Reigns on November 4 at WWE Crown Jewel, and fans are hoping to see Knight secure his first title in SmackDown. Additionally, WWE Hall of Famer Booker T is rooting for him to take the Universal Championship title from Reigns, as fans desire.
Booker T talks on LA Knight vs Roman Reigns
WWE Hall of Famer Booker T shared his opinion on the upcoming match between Roman Reigns and LA Knight. In a recent episode of the “Hall of Fame” Podcast, the legend discussed the possibility of Knight winning the Undisputed Universal Championship from Roman Reigns at Crown Jewel 2023.
Booker T explained that if The Megastar of WWE defeats The Tribal Chief then it can be considered as a moment where fans might go crazy and he also mentioned that he will be rooting for LA Knight in that match.
“I can tell you this if they were to pull the trigger on La Knight. What a surprise it would be. And how many people would go nuts? So my thing is, I’m a fan, just like you guys. I’m wishing for the night to get the big push.” said Booker T.
He also mentioned the fact that it is the perfect time for Knight to win this title as he is getting the attention of the audience.
“One thing about this business is always talking about the sand in the hourglass, the clock is ticking, and you want to capitalize right now. You don’t want to wait till tomorrow to capitalize on something like late night because that fire is going to burn out. It’s not going to be this hot. It’s not going to be this hot forever, fairly night. So it’s just like a wrestling match.” said Booker T.
Booker explained the reason why he thinks fans will be crazy about Knight’s victory over Reigns. He said, “You want to go home when the fire is, is, as hot as it can be. Why not go home? Send them home, man. See, that’s what I’m saying. That’s a book, you know. So, I think that’s the same thing with LA Knight. He’s hot, man. He’s hot. He’s white. Hot. And if they were to pull the trigger on it on La Knight, I think the people would go nuts. I do.”
LA Kight faces Roman Reigns at WWE Crown Jewel
On the latest episode of SmackDown, the match between Roman Reigns and LA Knight was confirmed for Crown Jewel 2023. In that episode, Paul Heyman demeaned The Megastar by doubting his abilities in a promo. The superstar promptly reacted and came to the ring to confront Heyman. After a heated exchange in that promo, Knight announced that a contract signing is scheduled for next week’s show for his match against Roman Reigns at WWE Crown Jewel 2023

Roman Reigns had been absent from the ring since the previous WWE SummerSlam 2023. He made his return two weeks ago in an episode of WWE SmackDown. Upon his return, The Tribal Chief entered the ring to address John Cena regarding the loss of his faction at Fastlane 2023. During that segment, Cena announced that LA Knight would be challenging Roman Reigns, and subsequently, LA Knight entered the arena, marking the beginning of their rivalry.
Later, The Megastar faced Reigns stablemate Solo Sikoa in a singles match. But LA Knight got interrupted by The Bloodline and eventually received a solid Spear from the Undisputed Universal Champion after achieving victory. To take revenge for this humiliation Knight attacked Roman Reigns in a WWE Supershow. Now only time will tell what will happen between them in the next episode of SmackDown.
