What is the seating capacity of WWE Survivor Series at Allstate Arena? Examining the updated seating arrangement amid massive fan interest

The WWE Survivor Series this year in Chicago has already sold out almost all of their tickets for the event. It looks like it’s going to be a big night for the WWE Universe at the Allstate Arena this year, as even the WWE talent aren’t getting their hands on the tickets this time around.

Amidst the high fan demand, it looks like the Stamford-based promotion is giving fans another opportunity to get hold of more tickets for the upcoming event. It is going to take place on November 25, 2023, at the Allstate Arena in Chicago.

WWE increases seating capacity for WWE Survivor Series

To meet the excessive demand for tickets for this year’s WWE Survivor Series, the Stamford-based promotion is looking to increase their seating capacity at the Allstate Arena.

WrestleTix has reported on Twitter that WWE has added the last four available sections to the venue, which is currently fully available for the WWE Survivor Series this year. Apparently, WWE is planning to go all out at the Premium Live Event this November after the tickets were all sold out in a short time.

The venue currently has 1,718 available seats, with a new setup and configuration that accommodates 16,860 seats, with 15,128 seats currently sold out. It appears that WWE is planning to sell out the entirety of the Allstate Arena for their upcoming event.

Disappointing update on potential Survivor Series match

Traditionally at every Survivor Series, the top champions of both RAW and SmackDown brands have to go up against each other, in an attempt to establish the supremacy of their respective brands. This year, fans expected the Undisputed WWE Champion Roman Reigns to go up against the World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins in order to establish who’s the better champion. However, it looks like this dream match will not likely happen at WWE Survivor Series this year.

According to Dave Meltzer from Wrestling Observer Radio, the highly teased Champion vs Champion match would not happen this year at WWE Survivor Series. “I can tell you for sure that’s not on this year’s Survivor Series”, said Meltzer. This led to a widespread disappointment among fans of the wrestling industry, who were waiting for this match ever since Rollins won the World Heavyweight Championship.

The last time that the two men faced off against each other was at Royal Rumble last year, where The Drip God was unsuccessful in capturing the Universal Championship, despite getting the DQ victory over The Tribal Chief.

No matches has been announced for the event as of yet. It was being rumored and reported for the past few weeks that CM Punk might show up at the event, which was taking place in his hometown, which added further belief among fans. However, reports emerged that WWE denied Punk’s offer to return, following which all the speculations regarding The Second City Saint’s return eventually died down.

We would have to wait and see how WWE builds up the match card for this year’s Survivor Series, where WarGames will apparently play a huge role as well. Stay tuned for further updates.
