After leaving AEW, Jade Cargill has recently signed a multi-year contract with WWE. Despite winning the AEW Championship multiple times, this female superstar has now joined the Stamford-based promotion. She has spent weeks preparing and training at the WWE Performance Center to make her WWE debut.
In the main event of NXT: Halloween Havoc yesterday, Lyra Valkyria defeated Becky Lynch and became the new NXT Women’s Champion. Former AEW star Cargill was also in the audience, and it seems she has her eyes on the NXT title. According to WWE legend Bill Apter, there is a high possibility that Jade Cargill will challenge Lyra Valkyria for the NXT Women’s Championship.
In the latest episode of the “Unscripted” show, Apter astutely speculated that a former AEW sensation could potentially snatch the illustrious NXT championship from Lyra ValKyria in the imminent future. Apter further posited that this momentous occasion could mark the talented competitor’s maiden triumph within the hallowed halls of WWE.
“Perhaps Jade now envisions some of this change that Lyra Valkyria is the new champion, and she’s a rookie, and maybe they are going to build a match with Jade against her, and this will become Jade’s first title in the WWE Universe,” said Bill Apter.

Earlier this month, Lyra Valkyria participated in a number-one contender match where she faced Indi Hartwell and Roxanne Perez. That bout was a high-octane clash as all of them gave their best to secure their shot, but it was Lyra who achieved victory in a very clever way.
Yesterday’s match between Lyra Valkyria and Becky Lynch was also a great showdown. The match began with an attack from The Man. Lynch dominated Valkyria in the first few minutes of the bout, which was expected given her greater experience in the ring. However, The Man was caught off guard when delivering repeated manhandle slams to Lyra. During the match, Valkyria seized the opportunity to go for the pinfall and secured her win. Surprisingly, Lynch was happy for the NXT star and embraced Lyra Valkyria after handing her the title.
With this win, a new horizon has opened for ValKyria’s NXT career, and there is a high chance that she will get her shot to enter the main roster of WWE.
