The Stockton native also voiced his opinion on other current champions, stating that he finds them lacking the entertainment value they once had in the past.
“There is Adesanya and Jon Jones, besides that everybody is kind of, there is nobody that entertaining to watch. So, what happens? I make something to entertain people and I’m not even in there?” Diaz added.

Diaz discloses real reason for his UFC exit
After building a remarkable MMA career with a 22-13-0 record overall, Diaz is now gearing up to venture into professional boxing. Recently, the MMA veteran finally disclosed the reasons behind his departure from the UFC.
“They just needed something to do, something to make some promotion out of it. That’s why I had to get out of the organization the whole time anyway. There’s nobody to fight, that’s why I had to step out because there’s nobody to fight.” Diaz added.
The 38-year-old fighter, however, slightly indicated to make a comeback to the UFC in the future for one last time, specifically in the welterweight division. However, before that, the American has his sights set on defeating Jake Paul in his ring debut.
