With Jade Cargill being the newest addition to the WWE Women’s Division, people have been wondering who the former AEW star might face when she makes her eventual debut. While she was seen eyeing Becky Lynch’s recent match with Lyra Valkyria, former Women’s Champion Bianca Belair recently discussed a potential match with Cargill.
While Jade Cargill was hailed as one of the best female superstars of AEW, Bianca Belair has a few achievements of her own. Few months ago, she became the longest reigning RAW Women’s Champion of the modern era, before eventually dropping the title. Now, it looks like fans want to see the two top superstars collide in an eventual matchup in WWE.
Bianca Belair on potential Jade Cargill match
Wrestling fans all over the world have been wanting to see Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill clash in a singles match, from the time when Cargill used to be in AEW. Although it seemed like an impossible idea before, this dream match has a higher chance of taking place now that Cargill is a part of WWE.
In a recent interview with WrestleRant, The EST of WWE recently shared her thoughts on facing Jade Cargill, saying that a match with her would definitely be WrestleMania worthy. In addition to facing her in a singles bout, Belair also talked about forming a tag team with her.
“I used to get questions about facing Jade before she even came to WWE and I would always say, ‘Well, everybody wants what they can’t have,’ but now it’s a possibility. It’s very exciting. I feel like everybody’s talking about ‘Bianca Belair vs. Jade Cargill.’ I think that would be a WrestleMania-caliber match, but also, too, a tag team. There’s so many possibilities. So I’m very excited for it”, said Bianca Belair.
Belair further complimented Jade Cargill, praising her for making a name for herself and building up so much hype for her without even having a single match in WWE. She concluded by saying that WWE has the best roster of female superstars in the world and Cargill’s recent addition further elevated it.
Belair’s next WWE appearance confirmed
Bianca Belair has been off WWE Television since August, where she last teamed up with Charlotte Flair to defeat the team of Bayley and Iyo Sky. She was then attacked by Damage CTRL following her and Charlotte’s victory.
It looks like The EST is looking to pick things up from where she left off, as she returned to SmackDown last week and helped Charlotte Flair fend off an attack by Damage CTRL. Belair even hit Bayley with the KOD, proving that she was ready to get back into the mix. It was later announced on this week’s RAW that Bianca Belair will appear on Friday Night SmackDown this week as well.
It’s unclear as of now in what capacity Belair will be involved on SmackDown this week. However, it seems like she’s back to lend Charlotte a helping hand in her feud with Damage CTRL. Stay tuned to get further updates on Bianca Belair and WWE.
