However, upon receiving the latest injury update, Davante Adams of the Las Vegas Raiders believes that his former teammate might not be completely out of contention for this season.

During a recent appearance on ManningCast, A-Rod said he would love to come back to the action this season. Though resuming play shortly after sustaining such an injury seems quite impossible, Adams thinks it is not totally impossible for the elite players of different sports backgrounds as they receive top-class treatments after all.
“‘I ain’t ruling anything out for that man. You never know. The LeBrons, Michael Jordans, Kobe Bryants, and Aaron Rodgers’, Tom Bradys of the world, they get a different type of treatment out there too so, I don’t know, he might have somebody he’s paying $10 million a year to get that thing right,” via Daily Mail.
Days after tearing his left Achilles tendon, the Jets’ QB appeared at MetLife Stadium to enjoy his team’s match. He even threw balls with cornerback Sauce Gardner for almost 15 minutes, and the Raiders’ receiver thinks these all signal toward his early return to the field.
“‘In all seriousness, it’s possible for him, you see what he’s out there doing, he’s throwing the ball around, I know he’s not out there running, but he did just blow his Achilles out and he’s out there throwing, walking out there pretty easily without crutches a couple weeks after the injury.”
Davante and Aaron spent eight seasons together with the Green Bay Packers, establishing themselves as one of the league’s most dynamic QB-WR duos. As a result, the Raiders veteran expressed his excitement at the prospect of his buddy’s return and his longing for a reunion with A-Rod.

During his recent appearance on “The Pat McAfee Show”, Rodgers boldly claimed he is ahead of schedule for his rehabbing while crediting the doctor’s “innovative” surgery to helping him in his recovery. He was even seen walking without crutches or a walking boot in Gang Green’s 20-14 win over the Philadelphia Eagles.
ESPN analyst Mike Greenberg believes these events indicate a potential comeback for the 10-time Pro Bowler. He exclaimed, stating that the Jets’ quarterback is “not human,” as few players can remain so physically fit after enduring such a severe injury.
“It was a sign. It was a sign, people. No crutches, Aaron’s coming back. I’m telling you right now, Aaron, he’s not human. He’s coming back.”

Rodgers recently underwent “speed bridge” surgery to accelerate his rehabilitation process. While this modern procedure doesn’t guarantee his speedy return, there are projections that the versatile player may be back in action by mid-January. Only time will tell if the 39-year-old star can ultimately return to wearing the Jets jersey this season.
