Miami race emerges as Verstappen’s most enjoyable 2023 F1 win
During a recent interview, the accomplished two-time world champion was asked to reflect on his most gratifying win following his recent victory at Spa-Francorchamps. Upon careful consideration, the talented Dutchman shared that there have been numerous exceptional wins throughout this season, each with its own unique set of challenges and rewards than others.
According to GP fans, in an interview Max’s most satisfying race this season is the Miami GP and he had this to say about it, “I think the one actually which I really enjoy was like back in time in Miami. It’s a tough track, also to get through the field but we managed I think that whole race quite well after, of course, the tough qualifying.”
“So probably for me, that was a very enjoyable one but honestly, also today, the last one in Hungary – there are a lot of nice ones.”
The race didn’t turn out to be the best one for his teammate though as after coming in second place behind Verstappen, Perez has yet to win a race. He’s admitted that his confidence has been shaken, which has been reflected in his results since Miami. In Monaco, he finished in 16th place, while in Spain and Canada, he managed fourth and sixth respectively. Despite Red Bull having the best car in F1, he also went five consecutive races without qualifying in the top 10.
Has Max Verstappen won every race in 2023?
As of the 2023 Spa, Max Verstappen has won 10 races in 2023 with 8 wins in a row Formula 1 season.
It seems as though Red Bull and Verstappen have emerged victorious in almost every race in 2023, having won 12 out of the 13 races thus far. They have proven to be the most dominant team this season, with Verstappen being the most accomplished driver.
There are several factors contributing to Red Bull and Verstappen’s success this year. Firstly, their car, the Red Bull RB18, is the fastest and most reliable on the grid. It has performed exceptionally well on all the different tracks that have been raced on so far. Secondly, Verstappen himself is in top form. He has been driving flawlessly and has made very few mistakes. Finally, Red Bull has made astute strategic decisions throughout the season, often positioning Verstappen at the front at the start of the race and taking good care of his tires.
It will be interesting to see if Red Bull and Verstappen can maintain their dominance for the rest of the season. The competition is tough, and Ferrari and Mercedes are sure to improve their cars. However, Verstappen and Red Bull are in a good position to win the championship in 2023.
