Cristiano Ronaldo is big on family and has duly made his family famous due to his reputation as one of the most popular and influential people in the world, not just in his sport. One of these people is his sister, Katia Aveiro, a Portuguese singer famous for being Ronaldo’s family.
Just like her little brother Cristiano, Katia was also born in Funchal, Madeira. She was born in 1977, which makes her eight years older than Cristiano, who was born in 1985. Katia launched her music career in 2005 under the stage name Ronalda. This was a tribute to her brother, Ronaldo, and her album contained slow songs, a supposed romantic pop album titled Pronta P’ra Te Amar.
Katia, with the help of her brother Cristiano Ronaldo, wrote the song Vivo na Esperanca de Te Ver in honor of their father, Dinis Aveiro, who passed away in 2005. Through her, Cristiano Ronaldo has two nephews and a niece.

Messi was declared the winner of the 2023 Men’s Ballon d’Or four days ago, with many claiming Erling Haaland, who polled second, was more deserving of the award after leading City to a treble-winning campaign last season.
Ronaldo liked and commented on an Instagram video of a journalist criticizing Lionel Messi for winning his eighth Ballon d’Or. Ronaldo’s sister, Katia Aveiro, has now followed suit, as she subtly threw a jibe at the Argentine superstar.
Ronaldo’s sister also liked and commented on a post claiming everything Ronaldo ever won in football was earned and not given. This was a reference to recent claims that Messi’s latest Ballon d’Or win was given and not earned, claiming he was favored all through the 2022 World Cup, where Argentina was given five penalties, four of which Messi scored.
Despite the outcry from rival fans, Adidas has honored Messi with eight gold rings, each representing one Ballon d’Or win for the former Barcelona man.
Ronaldo, on the other hand, endured a tough night where opposition fans taunted him with chants of Lionel Messi’s name. He also visibly criticized the referee in the match against Al-Ettifaq, signaling for the match official to be substituted after making some controversial calls.
