F1 Brazilian GP 2023: Past results and predictions for Max Verstappen, Lewis Hamilton and Charles Leclerc

F1 will revisit Brazil and the Interlagos Circuit this weekend with home hero Lewis Hamilton on the hunt for Red Bull and Max Verstappen. The Brazilian GP and its festive atmosphere has lured drivers to the beautiful Sao Paolo as they are entering the last races of the season. The Brazilian GP will be a sprint race, though F1 have received a lot of criticism about this format.

The 2023 season of F1 has been a rollercoaster which was run by Red Bull for the majority of the time, but the other constructors have given their all and are trying to overthrow the regime of Max Verstappen, to compete for the 2024 title and defeat the RB19 ‘rocket ship’ at least once.

Past results of F1 Brazilian Grand Prix

The Brazilian GP will commence from this Friday into what will be a relentless triple header of races, followed by Las Vegas and Abu Dhabi. The 2023 Brazilian GP will be a particularly interesting one because of the new sprint format in F1. Both Checo and Lewis will be looking to maximize their points throughout the weekend as they are currently in a tussle for the 2nd position in F1 Drivers Championship.

George Russell was the winner last time around here. He helped the Mercedes W13 achieve its only win during an extremely difficult season and went on to dominate the entire sprint weekend for Mercedes. Although, for the local fans, the most special win would be arguably Lewis Hamilton’s 2021 masterclass. He waived the Brazil flag on podium much like his idol Ayrton Senna and gave the people a wholesome moment to enjoy. The lap record of this 4.3 km long circuit is held by Valtteri Bottas in 2018, when he set a time of 1:10.540.

Predictions for Max Verstappen, Lewis Hamilton and Charles Leclerc

The hottest topic in the paddock right now is what will be the result when Max Verstappen’s Red Bull, Hamilton in his W13 and the Ferrari of Charles Leclerc clash together in the first race of F1’s triple header. F1 is all about the drama and the crazy track action and Mexico GP proved it very well. The Ferraris had locked out the front row but the podium consisted of three different manufacturers. From turn 1 crashes, to late race hunt for the win Mexico GP had it all.

The hardcore F1 fans would be expecting something similar out of the Brazilian GP, as Max Verstappen has released a warning to Red Bull, on the other hand, Lewis Hamilton seems to believe that Max is going to take all the remaining wins. Charles was showing the upgraded pace of his Ferrari and he will fight tooth and nail for the highly coveted win this time.
