In recent times, French sensation Kylian Mbappe has frequently made the headlines because of the ongoing transfer rumours. The 24-year-old is the hottest player on the market and has expressed his desire to play for his dream team Real Madrid on multiple occasions. The Spanish giants have also actively pursued the player; however, a move didn’t quite materialise due to Paris Saint-Germain’s firm financial demands.
Nevertheless, Kylian’s move to Real Madrid isn’t quite ruled out yet. Speculations of a transfer keep growing every day, and recently, the newly-appointed France National Team captain was spotted hanging out with another Real Madrid superstar, which has added even more fuel to the fire!
Kylian Mbappe caught on camera with Rodrygo
The players are enjoying their days off ahead of the beginning of the 2023-24 season, and it looks like Kylian Mbappe found a familiar face in Real Madrid’s Brazilian winger Rodrygo during his vacation in Sardinia.
The 22-year-old Brazilian took to social media to post a picture of himself hanging out with the French prodigy on Saturday. The photo, captioned “KM” with a fire emoji, shows Mbappe wrapping his left arm around Rodrygo’s shoulder.

Rodrygo’s post on Saturday has sent fans into a frenzy, with many believing the photo to be the prelude of Mbappe’s imminent transfer to the Santiago Bernabeu.

How much does PSG want to sell Kylian Mbappe for?
Despite Mbappe and Real Madrid’s avid interest to make the move possible, solely due to the pricetag Paris Saint-Germain has set for the forward. Kylian’s superstar status brings a superstar pricetag; PSG, knowing that the player has no interest to extend his contract with them, is asking for a whopping €250 million.
Earlier, the Ligue 1 Champions received an offer worth €300 million from Saudi Pro League club Al-Hilal. PSG reportedly agreed to the offer which seemingly exceeded their own expectations; Kylian Mbappe, however, turned down the move as he wants to remain in Europe to spend his prime time.
PSG also turned down Real Madrid’s offer of €200 million and isn’t willing to let the player go for anything below their asking price. This looks like a dire situation, as Kylian has entered the final year of his contract with PSG, and should he sign a pre-agreement with Real Madrid in January, the French champions have to let him go for free.
